Capital Park in Abu Dhabi is a favourite destination for children. The park has well-maintained green lawns and shaded areas making it a perfect place for families to relax
and enjoy themselves.

People frequent this park for fun rides, barbecuing and picnicking. A horse ride is the latest attraction in the park and often parents can be seen accompanying their children as they go for rides.

Entry to the park is free for children up to 10 years, while adults pay just Dh1. Capital Park, established in 1969, is located on Khalifa Street, along the Abu Dhabi Corniche.

According to the staff at the park, about 500 people visit the park every day and the number can reach up to 2,000 a day
during the weekend.

On public holidays, such as Eid, about 3,000 people visit the park. The park is open from 9am to 11pm during the weekend and from 3pm to 11pm
during the week.
